Visit Us

Expectations

We gather on Sundays at 9:45 am for a meet and greet and service beginning at 10 am. We will light a chalice, which is a symbol of the UU faith, then have music, Joys and Concerns, the sermon or talk, offering, time for discussion, and our closing circle of hands. Often, members will meet for lunch in town following the service to eat, share, and visit with one another. Visitors are welcomed and encouraged to join us.

Joys and Concerns

This is a time in the service when individuals, both members and visitors, share their joys or concerns, such as a personal milestone, having family in town, concern about a friend or situation or, the simple joys of island life. We hold these joys and sorrows, spoken or unspoken, in our hearts.

What to Wear

Please wear what makes you comfortable. Most of our members dress in casual attire, a pretty dress or nice shorts/skirt and shirt. We welcome you to come as you are.
